So I've been inspired by Amanda's Gansta Paradise entry on her blog, which made me laugh hard, to tell a little story about Ross... This one makes me laugh so hard I cry. When Ross was in 5th Grade he really liked the song Gansta's Paradise(I hope everyone remembers it, wonderful classic). Because he liked it so much he wanted to memorize the lyrics, so he wrote them down and his mom found the paper. Now can you imagine if you found a paper with this written on it by your 11 year old son who lives in white suburbia utah! She had never heard the song and I can just imagine what was going through her mind thinking this came from ross' mind. OHHH man it makes me laugh, the lyrics are as follows...
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I take a look at my life and realise there's none left
'Cause I've been brassing and laughing so long that
Even my mamma thinks that my mind is gone
But I aint never crossed a man that didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you talking, and where you walking
Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk
I really hate to trip but I gotta lope
As they croak I see myself in the pistal smoke ... fool
I'm the kinda G that little homies want to be like
On my knees in the night, saying prayers in the street light
They been spending most their lives living in the gangsta's paradise
They been spending most their lives living in the gangsta's paradise
We keep spending most our lives living in the gangsta's paradise
We keep spending most our lives living in the gangsta's paradise

DAY OFF!
Yeah, thats right! I finally got a day off of work Monday and some of my friends from brighton and I went to the canyons! It was great fun and we played all day long. It was great to know that we wouldn't have to go in to teach a lesson the entire day. Ross was really jealous because he had to work at deer valley that day and didn't get to come.

Good times on the H moon
So I was just sitting here and thinking that if we get to share pictures of the wedding with everyone then we should be able to share pictures from our honeymoon with you all too! Really I just wanted to post something else on our blog but we haven't done anything really cool and I can't stand feeling anxious. Anywho, we went to San Diego on the honeymoon. It was really fun. We stayed at the Bahia Hotel in mission bay and it was just fabulous. Gina'a favorite part was that they had a pool there with a seal in it. No you weren't supposed to go swimming with it but that didn't stop Gina from mingling with Gracie.
Gina over the fence playing with Gracie!
We spent some time on the beach playing around in the ocean, but between the cool water temps and our fear of sharks, we didn't spend much time in the water. The sand was fun though, and gina lost this really cool frisbee in the ocean. It was actually really funny. I was like a little kid running frantically chasing after it, but the mercies of ocean were not in my favor that day :(
Gina had fun burrying me in the sand and making me look like animals.
We also went down to Tijuana one day just for kicks so that we could "leave the country" and use our passports. We picked up some really nice things there, real nice.
This nice man made us a treasure for just a few dollars! Sweet of him, the final product read "Gina and Ross, Tijuana Forever."
We also spent a day in Sea World which was super cool. Gina completely bought into the act at the dolphin show. It was hillarious. They have this lady pretend like she is a mom of this family and she accidently falls into the water with the swimming dolphins. I was dying. We saw all the shows and fell in love with Shamu. SHAMU SHAMU!

Holla back
Ross told me he set this up and I'll be honest I'm pretty excited. I have never done one of these blogs but I'm excited to stay in touch with everyone and to post these attractive pictures of Ross & me. We have been married a little over 4 months... 5 months on St. Patty's Day! We thought it would be nice to post some pictures of our wedding day!
Snow!
This year has been a great year up at the resort and we have been loving every minute of it! It was a slow start but December was the 4th wettest in state history! January and February were awesome too! Gina is quite the snowboarder shredding the gnarr! She has been shreddin' it up all season long. Ross is loving it as well too now that he has his fat skis back. They needed a little repair after hitting a rock or something earlier this season. Wish that we could share all this snow with the rest of you, but we are fine if we have it all to ourselves! See you on the mountain!
